i having problems computer after upgrading windows 8 windows 10 preview. bit bullet , did fresh install. after installing on computer noticed i'm getting error while trying install windows phone 7.1 sdk. error message reads follows: requirements , software prerequisites incompatible products setup has detected follow incompatible version of products or components installed on computer. please uninstall following products or components in specified order. microsoft .net framework 4 extended microsoft .net framework 4 client profile previously upgrade windows 8 10 develop using windows phone 7.1/5, system unstable (hence fresh install). anyone have ideas on how fix or if there fix on windows 10 environment? i've tried uninstall listed programs, couldn't find them in programs , features. any appreciated.  are using visual studio 2010 sp1? you can find microsoft .net framework in programs , features -> turn windows features on or off. i sug...

hi all,  i have 2 separate forest, first forest named abc.com, windows 2003 server. , inside forest there child domain called zzz, fqdn child domain zzz.abc.com, second forest named 123.com (windows 2008) has no child domain.  i setup 2 way trust between abc.com , 123.com, looks fine. @ 123.com server hosted file server. can add permission zzz.abc.com (child domain) users @ 123.com server. when try add security group (be global or universal) belongs zzz.abc.com, can't see group zzz.abc.com. when click @ "location" in folder sharing/security tab. can see abc.com domain. managed see groups abc.com not zzz.abc.com.  i try setting "non transitive external" trust between zzz.abc.com , 123.com, result still same. try using aduc can't see groups zzz.abc.com.  the file sharing ok means guess trust is, when try add user 123.com group zzz.abc.com, wouldn't work.  can tell me might wrong this?  thanks!  hi, based on descrip...

i know topic little vague, didn't want mile long either  :). i have customer running windows server 2003 machine, , 2 computers connect it.  both of systems running windows xp professional.  their main reason using server have peachtree accounting software setup, needs server share data between 2 systems @ once. we replaced both of machines (not server) faster machines, still ones running xp pro.   the problem i'm having (that nobody can seem me with) when machine#1 opens accounting software, opens fine.... however, when machine#2 opens software, tells user not have permission open file server.  the way remedy open computer, access 1 of network drives in server, , type in server's password.  then machine fine until restart or turn off day , turn on next morning. they never had problem before old machines, , machine#2 having problem.  i'm sure setting i'm missing somewhere, cannot seem find it. any suggestions? hi sp4rt4n, it seems ...

i have thirty printers on ts server serving wan.   setup previous sysadmin.   laserjets, dot matrix , multi functional devices. network printers , attached workstations.    have similar driver names.    does know if possible rename printers on ts server identify printer, perhaps location, etc? how mapping them within session?  users should seeing printers assigned them whether autocreated workstation or assigned through login script or other method.  if using ts box print server, highly recommend moving off server there no reason have ts box act print server well.  making workstation class box print server better putting them on workstation. as renaming, yes renaming printer easy renaming file.  problem if redirecting them through workstation won't matter @ all.  move printers off system.
