GPO Delete registry entry under Local Policies/Secuirty Options

we have new process running on 4 of our domain controllers require fipsalgorithmpolicy disabled. cannot disable setting because of following entry in domain controller policy (see below). when go group policy management there no entry remove can see under settings tab , know applied because when delete or change in registry comes right back.

i not know how rid of it. when @ gptmpl.inf files under policies in sysvol folder find following 2 lines:

machine\system\currentcontrolset\control\lsa\fipsalgorithmpolicy=4,1

machine\system\currentcontrolset\control\lsa\fipsalgorithmpolicy\enabled=4,0

i don't want edit file directly because i'm not sure harm. read can edit sceregvl.inf files under c:\windows\inf directory on domain controller no entries apply in file.

can provide in getting rid of gpo item?

i able rid of group policy entry , fix problem by editing gptmpl.inf files directly. made change policy increment version number. worked great.

DFSR RPC replication errors 5014 1726 with large files over VPN
