RSOP Error in Event Log

i getting following error in event log on  win2003 sp2 server (vmware virtual machine).
windows couldn't log rsop (resultant set of policies) session status. attempt connect wmi failed. no more rsop logging done application of policy.

i have tried deleting \wbem\repository directory, hasn't helped.
i have no idea what's causing or how can fix it.
any extremely appreciated.

DFSR RPC replication errors 5014 1726 with large files over VPN
