hello everyone, i've windows server 2008 r2 sp1 based physical machine on i'm plannning to run windows server 2008 r2 sp1 based hyper-v vm (rdg+remoteapp+rdweb). i've 4 nic's on host machine. and on hyper-v vm, i've 2 virtual switches: v switch#1 binded physical nic#1 v switch#2 binded physical nic#2 i'm planning have both virtual switches use different dsl lines. while setting multiple default gateway on other virtual switch, error says it's not recommended thing do. my host machine running routing & remote access i'm controlling virtual switches, not sure if i've missed configuration on regarding setting 2nd virtual switch(for internet connectivity). for rd gateway setup, i'll getting request virtual switch#2, which'll pass on host's machine physical nic , routed isp. is can achieved? any assistance highly appreciated. regards Windows...

hi guys, i'm doing performance testing see how long takes users applying on 150 gpos (most of them creating shortcuts using gpps) login on windows 2008 ts , results not good... when looking @ logs, things this: completed deployed printer connections extension processing in 16532 milliseconds. completed internet explorer branding extension processing in 3875 milliseconds. completed group policy registry extension processing in 2704 milliseconds. completed group policy shortcuts extension processing in 168187 milliseconds . completed user logon policy processing domain\user in 247 seconds . spending 4 minutes waiting @ each logon not acceptable , i'm trying see if can improved without having reduce number of gpos. tested shortcuts configured in replace mode (convenient can automatically removed when gpo doesn't apply anymore) switched create mode, saved time (about 20% faster) still not enough... since having shortcuts added progressively after user logged i...

hi, i have read windows automatically enables pae if dep enabled on computer supports hardware-enabled dep, or if computer configured hot-add memory devices in memory ranges beyond 4 gb i wanted ask how can check if system enables pae or not , the same configured hot-add memory. what i'm trying see here,  that if pae has been enabled automaticly.
