hi emma,

 

since sytem update readiness tool detected no errors , servermanager.log shows “c:\windows\system32\servermanager\cache\cbsupdatestate.bin not exist”, please cbsupdatestate.bin file running windows server 2008 computer , replace under same directory? let’s see whether fix problem.

 

if have backup of server, can restore cbsupdatestate.bin file backup.

 

if won’t fix problem, i’m afraid have perform in-place upgrade of windows server 2008 if server not dc.
