SBS 2008 WSUS/Windows update - I'm only getting security updates not software updates

i', sorry long post.

first few words of setup. i'm using sbs2008 mail , web server, have no computers connected or thing else , it's not dhcp server. know has functions i'm running simple 1 man company , needs reliable web , mail server.

i have disabled wsus (a long time ago) , use windows update keep server date. see i'm "only" getting sercurity , other updates os not updates software e.g. exchange , other software. know exchange running sp1 - bpa tells me. remember getting updates exchage , other software before turning wsus off. remember doing in order rid of huge wsus folder.

i have turned wsus on on server. sbs console there no updates available after "syncronizing updates". result have wsus library on c: drive og 56 gb!

what prefer not use wsus windows update. want software updated. right i'm in th worst of situations: running wsus , having huge folder getting no updates software os. have checked settings windows update , "microsoft update" setting checked.
