NPS problem with PAP

i have problem nps pap authentication.
same configuration worked on ias, not nps. used nt radping test same username/password. chap ticked, works fine , without chap not work. in connection profile, set match nas-port-type only. in policy, checked pap , chap only. chap works every time.

have did following:
add ras authtype pap on nps server (not domain controller)
enabled reversible password store , password set after

experts, please help!

nps logs event viewer on why access request failed. can check event viewer , let me know nps has logged?

Suspicious event log Event ID: 4905

DCOM received error "2147746132" from...
