Hyper-V Standalone clustering/SAN support

i need setting 2 hyper-v 2012 hosts. full version of server 2012 installed on both hosts. want remove , install hyper-v standalone 2012 on hosts , setup access san shared storage , clustering. obvious goal want servers able fail on 1 host in case of outage. just need a) make sure can of hyper-v standalone and b) instructions on setting san/clustering hyper-v standalone.

i'm wondering if virtual machine manager 2012 make of easier , whether or not should purchase it.

1) yes, can hyper-v no problem!

2) need pick san model , follow vendor instructions. may (and will) different.

3) of course using vmm you'd find it's easier manage whole thing (especially if san smi-s or has other integration vmm

so you'd able control both vms , storage same console).
