Cannot remove Retired drive from Storage Spaces.
i have drive in storage space set retired ages ago.
got around picking replacement drive , added storage space.
there more enough room in pool relocate data on retired drive. however, when attempt remove it, following error:
can't remove drive pool
drive not removed because not data reallocated. add additional drive pool , reattempt operation.
suggestions? i'm @ complete loss here. none of commands working in powershell either.
in server manager, please right click virtual disk, click properties, click details, in property drop-down box choose numberofcolumns. number of disks added in storage space extending virtual disk equals numberofcolumns * numberofdatacopies.
