Can't use Windows Auth through browser on 2008 R2

i have classic asp websites use windows authentication access administrative section. i've found neither ie nor firefox allow me authenticate using window auth when using browser on 2008 r2 server.

are there security settings on server disabling this? popup credentials, response same if i'd put in invalid credentials.
