Joining a workstation to a domain in another netword

is possible join workstation in 1 network domain in (distant) network? if so, feasible, or workstation better served using rds?

if going have computer joined domain through vpn, keep in mind need dc dns server on computer. means dns traffic going through vpn. can or bad, depending.

a better solution use vpn rdp.  keep secure easiest configuration.  if doing home, , have dedicated computer in office use, (or wife, have read other of postings),  rdp computer, , use connect server.  have programs need on anyways, , doing through vpn quick , sure.  if use domain joined computer , open data heavy program (database comes mind) time takes pull data not fast, , detrimental productivity home.

Suspicious event log Event ID: 4905

DCOM received error "2147746132" from...
