WSUS testing strategy
hi! have a new deployment of wsus 3.0 sp1 seems working well. here catch: it not doing want do. want able define 4 custom groups: "test workstations", "production workstations", "test servers", "production servers" (or similar...just long whole test vs. production setup). want able set automatic approvals test groups after synchronization, updates deployed test group (and hopefully, notified updates deployed). after x days (we'll 30 now) want wsus server automatically approve same updates production groups unless intervene (let's 1 particular update caused major problems...i intervene), , let me know approved them. type of setup possible wsus? there similar can it? how do it? goal here use wsus patch management product, optimal testing, , minimal administrative overhead...i pretty want run if can....
any appreciated!
