Client Computers not showing in Update Services Console
hi,
sbs 2011 standard
5 x windows 8 pro client computers
just noticed none of client computers have been updating, suspect since installation. (standard default server installation)
observations:-
- client computers not showing in update services console
- client computers show in sbs 2011 standard console in network>computers under update status displays - unknown
- client computers cannot directly access online windows update, stating updates "managed system administrator"
- client computers receive anti virus , spyware updates via server and sbs 2011 standard console provides details of client computers required these updates when required.
- server - shows in update services console under "update services server computers" , in sbs 2011 standard console>network>computers under update status displays - ok
any reason why client computers not show in update services console yet receive anti virus , spyware updates?
thanks
