Windows 2012 Storage Pool question

i have windows 2012 storage pool comprised of 5 virtual disks - totally 9.49tb of storage.

the volume showing 5tb free.

the storage pool reporting 413gb free. there 3tb or of data on drive. how come cannot copy more data it?

tried few of powershell commands get-virtualdisk. reports simple volume (spanned) 1 data copy. get-storagepool returns expect.

why there huge discrepancy in reported free space?  correct?

thanks.

hi,

i'm little unclear description.

do mean

1. storage pool created 5 disks totally 9.49tb in size?

2. 1 of volumes crated showing 5gb free space.

3. 3tb data on volume, means volume has 8tb in size.

4. storage pool shows 413gb free.

correct me if wrong.

for current situation:

"used space" in storage pool means space used created virtual disks in storage pool. should not related current issue.

the file stored in folder "system volume information" not calculated when checking total size in explorer. please perform check disk on volume , let know free disk space.
