Computers not appearing in WSUS 3

hi,

i'm new wsus. have installed wsus 3 on windows 2003 sp2 server. pc's not appearing on console. understand gp has changed. cant seem find should be, or things need done.

accepting have created gpo indicated, have ensured scoped, linked, , enabled?

on client machine believe should showing in wsus console, following:

open command prompt, , change logged on user's desktop folder. 

run:  gpresult /h results.html

when finishes, open results.html file on desktop.  enable active content if information bar pops up. 

expand "computer configuration > policies > administrative templates > windows components/windows update"

look "specify intranet microsoft update service location" , verify correct fqdn , port indicated "set intranet update service detecting updates" value.    should in formation of https://wsus_server_fqdn:port (e.g. https://sus0.contoso.com:8531).  port settings , whether http or https depend on how have configured wsus.

if generate html file successfully, sections listed missing or incomplete, have gpo issue.  need verify ou containing computers (not users) want use wsus server has gpo linked it, gpo enabled, , security filtering settings of not restrict applying target machines.

DFSR RPC replication errors 5014 1726 with large files over VPN
