as long have access file, can use get-content , unc path:


get-content \\computername\c$\folder\file.txt

http://ss64.com/ps/get-content.html

don't retire technet! - (don't give yet - 12,830+ strong , growing)

DFSR RPC replication errors 5014 1726 with large files over VPN
