Homegroups removed form Windows 2008 R2 - why?

    homegroups aren't available in windows server 2008 r2

does mean that homegroups available windows server 2008 removed in windows server 2008r2?

and why?

there several places shows homegroup intended added in windows 2008 r2 @ beginning, not added in end. cannot confirm reason why not added.

DFSR RPC replication errors 5014 1726 with large files over VPN
