Preparing a Failover Cluster for SQL Server 2012, Storage question.

hi im trying create sql failover cluster. have 2 server 2012 file servers raid arrays clustered no iscsi installed target feature in server 2012.

none of guides ive found online cover setting storage detail running setup.exe. im wondering kind of storage setup needed. ie 1 large vhd that's added target or multiple small ones.

ive tried adding 4 vhds target , running iscsi auto discover on potential cluster nodes adds 4 disks servers can brought online on first node , after creating cluster runs after adding sql second node the service fails start because disk cant found.

ive tried adding 4 vhds 4 targets each accessible 1 server causes 1 disk come online in failover cluster manager.

can suggest correct way configure disks failover cluster ?

yeah confusing me when tried start second node via service manager failed know because that's meant controlled via cluster service.

after restarting first server failed on second node , service started had correctly deployed using smb begin with.

thanks
