What are AD objects that have SID?

dears,

i have question: ad objects have sid (security identifier)?

thanks

regards

all objects in active directory have guid (the objectguid attribute), security principals have sid (the objectsid attribute). security principals objects can assigned permissions. includes the classes user, computer, group, , domain. not include objects of other classes, like contact, organizationalunit, container, , many others. these later objects cannot assigned permissions since there no sid add acl. note contacts can members of group, not give contacts permissions.
