Roaming Clients using location based WSUS

hi,

we have multiple wsus server config wsus server assigned @ each site.

we centralizing approval process creating upstream server @ our ho. in process, planning distribute wsus config clients registry instead of gpo.  registry settings delievered based on ip segment of client via logon script, client connects ip segment specific wsus server. being done because of our users roaming 1 site another.

please advice challanges in , type of config work?

hi,

have looked @ http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd939865(ws.10).aspx

i think have difficulty using logon script approach, wu service on client may have read registry settings before logon script changes them, so, may need develop method restart wu service reads changed settings applied script.

DFSR RPC replication errors 5014 1726 with large files over VPN
