Work Folders instead of DFS-R

was interested see if use work folders instead of dfs-r sync folders between 3 locations.

site datacenter have folder site b , folder site c

site b have folder site b replicates site a

site c have folder site c replicates site a

users connecting site access files site using namespace

users in site b access site b folder locally , site c folder site both via namespace path.

users in site c access site c folder locally , site b folder site both via namespace path.

i curious if there issues file locking have dfs-r no file locking options.  not mention if file change saved , information sent jet database sync , modifies file can create propblems requiring involved.

work folders designed informational worker kind of data , access in client machine file server backend kind of topology.

it not designed or tested or supported dfs-r replacement in server-to-server scenario.

work folders not have kind of distributed locks , on local machine (regardless if user's or server) off when other process tries access file if work folders reading (writes are staged actual time when work folders locks file write short)

while work folders not require manual intervention resolve conflicts (which still possible), keep conflicting copies conflict winner maybe equally bad in case.
