Open file with RemoteApp doesn't work due to an error

i'm here write strange error due platform update.

i'll try describe situation in quick , complete way:
have terminal server expose remote applications network of hp thin clients (os xp embedded), in there acrobat reader. works fine, application self-signed server, sson enabled, , clients able use applications remotely.

in situation had automatically open, thin clients, file without extension acrobat reader. solved problem adding key in registry under classes_root, in fact until days ago able open file (that due reg key associated right application) automatically double click.

problem since days hp released update of image of thin clients fix bugs , update software , can't not apply (due company reason). since updated clients wasn't able open file without extension , rdp show me error:
rdp file has settings cannot overridden command line. remote connection cannot started

know known bug ms suggest fix renaming file, can't it.

obvious something, in hp client update, has broken working scenario because i'm unable open file without extension. think update, of rdp client component, can cause of problem.

can suggest me how try recover previous working situation, perhaps indicating files can try substitute working previous version (i have machine working need)?

sorry frustration, believe because of new security in rdp file, allows files being launched rdp file.  need add following rdp file launching adobe application:

remoteapplicationfileextensions:s:*

then, should fix issue.
