Can DirectAccess and Exchange 2013 work on the SAME machine ?
after 2 unsuccessful attempts deploy directaccess-feature on existing exchange 2013-server, let me ask question if possible.
what have ...
- exchange 2013 on
- windows 2012 (not r2!)
-1 nic
- local domain behind nat
- 1 public ip-adress (ipv4)
- successful working vpn-access via pptp , sstp via exchange-server
- not have l2tp , ipsec-vpn
i read lot directacces, in fact, nothing combination exchange , directaccess on 1 machine.
the information not recommended have web-applications , directaccess on 1 machine, works.
any ideas ?

for stability, security reason, suggest deploy direct access on separate dedicated server .
besides, may know happened when deployed direct access on exchange server?
any prompt information?
in addition,you try deploy feature using powershell command: get-windowsfeatrue | where_object{$_.name -like '*direct access*'} | install-windowsfeature -whatif
this is workaround.
