WMI API Help

newbie question hope simple resolve.  poking around net have been trying find quick way enumerate of storage , paths used each vm (and vm host).  far, not luck.  have been trying enumerate vm's have.  system new, hosts ws2k8-r2, , has single windows 7 vm.  when use wmi cim studio, or, run "select * from msvm_computersystem" c# program, receive single response, ws2k8-r2 server.  not information on vm.  what's more, there no information vhd used vm.  have tried vm running , not running , same result.  information found on net incorrect , msvm_computersystem not contain vms?  best way enumerate of vhd's , physical hds (i.e. drives mapped vm instead of files)?  appreciated.
