What About Storage


i have been through video after video , article after article clustering , seem fall littel short in rely on shared storage. happens when storage fails???

when storage fails , have services dependant on shared storage of course fail. there 3rd party techniques (hardware/software) cover , cluster storage "virtualize" storage layer provided storage vendor (just few examples: hardware based storage replication: hp, emc, netapp, hitachi, software based storage replication: steeleye, doubletake...). storage requirement when using multi-site failover clustering, again if shared storage required ha ressources.
