How to Desktop.ini and Target.lnk to make Special Folder?


edit - nevermind - link appeared intended after logoff , log on.

i'm on windows server 2008 enterprise (not r2).  i've tried instructions below creating desktop.ini , target.lnk map folder network share.  folder , files have system attrib set.  instructions below win xp.   i'm wondering if need change make work win 2008.

yes, should work on win 2008 also. can use symbolic links.

windows vista , windows server 2008 support symbolic links mklink command.

symbolic links “new feature” windows server 2008 (previously there junction points, symbolic links, can point directories on local machine).
