Proper EFS setup

i'm testing setting efs shared folder.  current setup 2012 r2 server , win 7 ent desktop.  2 user accounts user1 & user2, both admins on win 7 box, both have cert associated ad account.  when create shared folder user1 on server, add user2 r/w rights it(user2 can create sample .txt file in shared folder).  encrypt sample.txt file , include sub\folder also.  add user2 user can access file.  when access file shared folder on win 7 box access denied error.

since still testing out efs, i'm trying see step missed allow access user2, need setup user2 data recovery agent , export cert win7 box.  appreciated.

hi,

i tested in lab , got same result you.

as workaround, can use ntfs permission deny user whom doesn't have right view file.

i'll keep updated if find new.

best regards.
