VM Static MAC Address

hi

we using windows 2012 hyper-v , failover cluster manage vm's on 5 hosts.  1 of vm's requires static mac address hold onto licensing application.  vm have changed setting dynamic static mac address.

however have noticed if server rebooted licence fails , has redone again.  looks me if sever migrated new host keeps same mac address when rebooted new host mac address changes.  correct?

i have seen people talk pool of static address seems scvmm don't have. 

is there way keep mac address same on various hosts?  suggestions or third party programs appreciated.

each hyper-v server has own mac pool. if live migrate vm host it saves mac. after restarting vm gets new mac. behavior of non vmm managed infrastructure. solution assigning static non conflicting in network mac address internally in vm using registry.

Suspicious event log Event ID: 4905

DCOM received error "2147746132" from...
