Grant an account rights to read and modify files in all Redirected Documents folders?

we have set redirected documents folder default recommended permissions not grant administrators access folders.  if administrator needs access folder, take ownership of folder, grants permissions , whatever need folder such delete or give access new person.  this needed not big deal.

however,  we  now need import everyone's outlook psts (stored in redirected mydoc's backed up) new  exchange archive mailboxes.  we need able verify psts gone file server once contents imported archive mailbox.  we need able run reports showing users storing music , video files in folders , how much.

when tried run windirstat against share containing redirected mydocs folders see file types taking space, got incomplete results using psexec running system account due inadequate permissions on user's folders.  

we need  the pst capture tool have rights read documents folders , move psts found users archive mailbox.

rather having go each user's redirected documents fiolder 1 one , take ownership change permissions, there more efficient way have account running pst capture tool , windirstat have access read , change files in user's redirected documents folders?

i thought of removing option in gpo says "grant user exclusive rights documents," don't think work on pre-existing folders have permissions set.

based on research, if have bunch of existing redirected documents folders set grant user exclusive rights documents check box selected, documented way regain access folders take ownership of each individual folder , manually edit permissions give administrators group full control.
