DNS Question
we having issues dns on our network. when pcs removed active directory, dns record appears staying. i.e if have pc called "test1" which has been deleted active directory, can ping test1 , reply (because ip test1 used use has been assigned new pc).
this can fixed manually removing entries dns pcs have been removed active directory.
i'm far being dns expert, person looks after our dns has advised that when pc joined domain it remains in dns unless deleted manually, if ip has been assigned new pc.
does know of way around or if expected behaviour?
