DNS: Delegate management of standalone DNS (2008 R2)
hi all,
could tell me how delegate management (admin tasks) of standalone (in file) dns server, on domain member server (2008 r2).
how i know, on domain integrated dns server there security tab on dns-level properties.
if dns server not ad-integrated, there no sush tab.
how can delegate administrative task on standalone dns server?
i try following (it doesnt help):
full control on:
1. group policy: computer configuration\windows settings\security settings\system services\dns server
2. regedit: hklm\system\currentcontrolset\services\dns, \dnscache
3. folder: c:\windows\system32\dns
thanks in advance.
with member servers, or standalones, have put user in local power users (can't remember if power users trick), if not, local adminstrator group on machine.
