How to block roaming profiles on a Server 2008 terminal server

is there way local server block loading of roaming profiles when trying log onto specific terminal server.  have users need roaming profiles on workstations, need local profile when remote desktop'ing server, , want tweak settings on server opposed using gpos set local logons or that.

hi,

something want confirm you.

you did not want modify gpo, did mean both domain level gpo , local gpo, right?

in windows registry, registry value named centralprofile in following registry subkey used set share path of roaming profile mentioned in group policy local users:

hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\windowsnt\currentversion\profilelist\<usersid>\centralprofile

note <usersid> placeholder specifies security identifier (sid) of user.
