domain trust

hi

i have 2 domain trust, below

  • abc.com(parent)
  • xyz.abc.com(child)
  • all server join xyz.abc.com. include exchange server.

all time ok , health, 1 day while doing domain trust health checking, aware it, parent , child trust lost. while click valid button display error below :

  • windows cannot find domain controller of abc.com domain. verify dc available , tne try again.

i sure abc.com dc available. plan remove exiting trust , rebuild it.

my question is:

  • will rebuild/ reset turst able solve existing issue?
  • the rebuild/ reset of trust crash exchange server down ?

please advice me.

hello,

if trust working have find out why isn't anymore, re-creating may not work connectivity seems not correct anymore.

make sure no firewall has been enabled/implemented/changed. make sure dns configured correct trust.

also start verifying trust:

netdom trusttrustingdomainname/d:trusteddomainname/verify

and post output here.

Suspicious event log Event ID: 4905

DCOM received error "2147746132" from...
