MSI Software Settings not applying

i have msi file want deploy. have setup separate gpo apply software , link correct ou. have rebooted machine (as there 1 in ou) several times , done gpupdate /force software never gets recognised. have no logs in event viewer apart ones tells me gp applied successfully.

i thought try msi test downloaded movie maker 2.6. set same way , installed first time of asking. lots of events.

why first gpo not work? possible msi file built wrongly , doesn't register properly? msi works fine if ran manually.

 first need establish whether gpo containing msi applying correctly clients. can accomplished running gpresult in command prompt on client system. if there problem, reason should indicated. 

 if gpo applying correctly, may need use transform on msi configure logging more information what's happening during installation or change behavior. in many cases, msis require user input or permission elevation can cause problems during automated deployment. there many tools creating transform (or mst file) ranging the free , complex (orca) powerful commercial tools such installshield. first step install msi locally command line switches on msiexec until behavior acceptable automated deployment (typically not prompts , silent install).

Suspicious event log Event ID: 4905

DCOM received error "2147746132" from...
