Adding a site that consists of an "embedded" subnet
we have 1 windows 2003 native mode ad domain , entire class b network address. of our network subnetted down /23 subnets. have 1 site, since that's has been needed. want take 1 of these subnets, add dc it, , create separate site includes subnet.
the subnet x.x.36.0/23. assume don't need add 127 of our remaining /23 subnets individually existing site. but also assume can't use x.x.0.0/16 existing site because include x.x.36.0 subnet. or in fact able to work way?
the best way can think of create subnets in existing site way:
x.x.0.0/19, x.x.32.0/22, x.x.38.0/23, x.x.40.0/21, x.x.48.0/20, x.x.64.0/19, x.x.96.0/19, x.x.128.0/18, x.x.192.0/18
is best way it?
any suggestions welcome.
thanks.

a subnet definition more specfiic take precedence - can use existing x.x.0.0/16 subnet existing site , define x.x.36.0/23 new one...
