Server 2008 R2 - GPClient, Winlogon Notification Subscriber
hi,
we have windows 2008 r2 server running part of our scsm uat environment after reboot 2 days ago has started taking on hour boot - pausing hour (approx) @ "applycing computer settings" screen. combined takes further hour logon server pausing @ "applying user settings" screen. appears having issues processing gps following error logged in event log:
the winlogon notification subscriber taking long time handle notification event (createsession).
other events logged same description different bits in brackets, eg (logoff) seems gp processing throws server off. bit of further info you:
1. scsm server virtual machine hosted on esxi4
2. scsm server has vmxnet3 network adapter
3. ad windows server 2008 sp1
4. scsm server network settings corrent - dns resolution working can access \\domain.local\sysvol
5. ad gps appear ok no corruption
6. scsm server working ok prior reboot 2 days ago
7. scsm server running, scsm, iis, wss3.0
8. scsm server failing start mom agent service (for forefront) , seeing service start being quite slow
your appreciated going live scsm in january , have broken uat environment!
