WSUS Synchronization Failed
hi,
pls. resolve issue. issue description :
we running wsus server on windows server 2012 r2 hyper-v machine. there full internet access on machine patches getting synchronized without issue. there security policy change due internet access access has been revoked machine wsus in list. there corporate firewall in between these servers & internet. getting updates synchronization (getting sync failed) wsus have given urls need white listed on firewall.

even after white listing these urls on firewall, still not able sync wsus server & not able download patches. there other url or else need @ our firewall level. wsus getting sync full internet access given. need followup our firewall/network security team since sits different location in regard helpful us.

1. checked urls listed in post , required urls communication between wsus server , microsoft update, theoretically, firewall settings enough;
2. please check wsus event log in event viewer, check if there is error 364, if yes, please check detailed log learn reason why sync or download failed;
3. may check log of firewall, check if firewall blocks related windows update packets;
