WSUS still uses port 8530 even 8531 (SSL) works fine

hi,

we've setup 1 wsus server , several downstream servers. works pretty fine. configured ssl on port 8531 , works fine too.

now i've seen in firewall downstreamserver still connects upstreamserver via 8530 , not via 8531. when manually start synchronization works pretty fine via 8531. 

why there still connections via 8530?

wsus encrypting metadata https, not traffic encrypted. , when sync, wsus download metadata of updates.

as can see, when we configure wsus ssl, we require ssl simpleauthwebservice, dssauthwebservice, serversyncwebservice, wsusadmin, clientwebservice; should not require ssl content, reportingwebservice, selfupdate.

Suspicious event log Event ID: 4905

DCOM received error "2147746132" from...
