Enterprise Remote Access Connection to TS Farm timeouts


we started seeing , issue our employees not able connected web app using enterprise remote login.  here happens:

1.  open enterprise remote access webpage , put in domain\username , password , click sign in

2.  after login presented web apps.  when select web app box comes says connecting to     xxx farm.  if hit details shows logging terminal server (prepairing desktop..etc) , box disappears , disconnected terminal server. 

it sounds timeout issue.  can help?

please check firewall settings. default, remoteapp , desktop connection management service uses tcp port 5504 communicate rd web access server. port on remoteapp , desktop connection management service communicates must available.

 

if using windows xp & vista client, should install rdc 7.0.

do have deployed rd session broker remoteapp rd session host farm?

 

remote desktop connection broker (rd connection broker), formerly terminal services session broker (ts session broker), role service provides following functionality:

  • allows users reconnect existing sessions in load-balanced rd session host server farm. prevents user disconnected session being connected different rd session host server in farm , starting new session.
  • enables evenly distribute session load among rd session host servers in load-balanced rd session host server farm.
  • provides users access virtual desktops hosted on rd virtualization host servers , remoteapp programs hosted on rd session host servers through remoteapp , desktop connection.

 

please check if special anti-virus software or firewall installed in rds , client pc. please disable or uninstall them see if same issue still exists.
