Clients cannot get windows updates from WSUS server, error id:0x8024400d

hi wsus experts

we got clients cannot windows updates internal wsus server, error id 0x8024400d when check updates.

i tried many ways no luck

1. tried delete distribution folder below, no luck. 

stop "windows updates" service

rename \windows\softwaredistribution folder

restart "windows updates" service

open command prompt , enter wuauclt /resetauthorization followed by wuauclt /detectnow

2. used "windows update troubleshooter" on microsoft, said "thank running automated troubleshooter microsoft, did not detect problems , ...."

3. tired re-create user profile, no luck.

hi bruce,

can provide more details wsus setup? using wid database? or using wsus sccm deploying updates?

but talks having multiple wsus servers through load balancer (which not sure if using).

Suspicious event log Event ID: 4905
