Domain password policy

here issue, users complaining not getting notice of password expiration (i think aren't paying attention, claim otherwise)

all workstations windows 7 x64 pro, servers being windows 2008 r2 standard

my default domain gpo has following settings:

since complains aren't seeing message letting them know going expire in 15 days (i had give them plenty of time see it) set following gpo items make more of annoyance.



still users saying seeing prompt reminding them change password. ideas/tips/tricks make super annoying users start see (or acknowledge do, because have seen many times on various machines)

think password notify displayed properly, users won't recognize it.

we had same issues.

don't give f... notification area.
use following vbscript notifies users:
