Server 2012 Sharing Configuration.

we deployed server 2012 domain. has 6 shares has access to. want create group read only. have lot of dwg,excel don't want group able modify view? easiest way without doing thousands of files manually? have created group called read , put users in group , applied file permissions group still no luck? ideas?

if want group read shared folds, need give read permission group on 6 shares. default, permissions inherited parent object, files in shared folders have read permission of group.

DFSR RPC replication errors 5014 1726 with large files over VPN
