Cannot Delete Shadow Copy Path on Windows Server 2008 R2

testing out use of shadow copy shared folders , went except when accident, removed folder had shadow copies enabled on before removing shadow copies first.

when got configuration shadow copies, see 2 drives on server c: , e: there 3rd 1 didn't exist before happened.

volume path shows this:

\\?\volume{guid}

went registry , found , deleted every single guid matched, restarted server, , still no go. actual guid comes different number every time.

i found solution, partition set "active", had startup repair via windows server 2008 r2 command prompt using dvd fix c: partition active instead.  i able delete partition via disk management in os.
