Any value in a contractor only container?

we have quite few contractors in our organization.  there best practice way should manage contractors in active directory environment?  there value in contractor container or additional qualifier in login name?

the way contractors handled in organization , needs of organization. if need different policies applied accounts, should in own organizational units (group policies cannot applies containers). makes them easier find. contractors can have different permissions, should have own groups. name groups clear groups contractors, avoid confusion. however, see less reason to give account names qualifier if in own ou's.
