hyper-v domain controller machines not synchronize time with AD servers

hai,

in setup have 2 physical servers hyper-v role enabled. in first physical server installed dc1 has 5 fsmo roles.

in second physical server installed dc2 hyper-v virtual machine.

the problem is,

the dc1 taking time physical server1 has set.

the same dc2 taking time physical server2 has set.

in dc2 when run command net time \\dc1 /set sync dc1 , taking time of dc1 , gets changes time of physical server2.

due this, face problem replication issues. how can synchronize times ad????

please advise

hi,

for virtual machines configured domain controllers, recommended partially disable time synchronization between host system , guest operating system acting domain controller. enables guest domain controller synchronize time domain hierarchy, protects having time skew if restored saved state. also, please make sure domain have correctly configured authoritative time source.

for more information, please refer question #6 (my virtual machine should synchronizing domain (or external server) – when run command tells me hyper-v time synchronization provider being used!  how fix this!) of following article:

thanks.
