i've been running server 2012 datacenter on proliant dl380 g7 second server fail(after restarting server boots doesnt boot completly hangs) , i've had reinstall os , attach vhds afresh,

  1. is there way of copying previous hyperv settings , importing them new hyperv installation?
  2. which key press launch startup repair on proliant servers?

meshack

hi meshack,

1. assuming broken hyper-v host running server 2012 too . after reinstall os , if folders of vms  stored  on disk , can import vms directly (maybe need create , connect virutal switch manually ).

for details please refer following link :

2. if there key repair server , please try contact hardware vendor further assistance .

best regards
