Problem Connecting To Windows Server 2008 virtual machine From Remote Site (different Subnet)

hello hyper-v pros!

i have interesting problem. have windows server 2008 machine set hyper-v host. on resides several virtual machines, running windows server 2008, 1 or 2 running windows server 2003. there 2 physical nics on host, , have 1 virtual network set external, connected first nic. of these machines on domain, can access internet, , reachable other physical machines on same subnet, in same site.

now, have remote site on same ad domain, on different subnet. these 2 sites connected via isa 2006 site-to-site l2tp vpn connection, , set allow traffic between 2 sites. however, have discovered unable access (ping, share access, etc.) of virtual servers running server 2008 remote site. remote site can access virtual machine if running windows server 2003, , can access windows server 2008 machine if physical machine. can't access server 2008 virtual machines remote site. exceedingly frustrating , cannot figure out why is!

one other thing note: cannot access of servers in remote site 2008 virtual machines. if try lookup remote server names in nslookup 2008 virtual, can resolve correct ip, cannot ping or browse these servers @ all. so, since vpn setup working fine other areas, , dns doing it's thing, led believe missing either setting on windows server 2008 virtual machines themselves, or there alternate setup need have in virtual network manager within hyper-v console.

please help!

unfortunately, hoping simpler solution, such as, "oh yeah, there known problem scenario, , here workaround...", since not case, , know problem not exist when vms running windows server 2003, going go ahead , blow away these 2008 vms , recreate servers 2003. time troubleshooting issue luxury not have @ point, , need move on. help, though. sure on these forums if current plan runs issues...
