Map drive become inaccessible.


dear help, 

i have widows server 2003 dc , file server. have windows xp , windows 7 clients.

i use gpo map drive users.

now problem on windows 7: 

- somehow, can access map drive

- somehow, can not access map drive appearing "access denied, don't have permission access file" 

- somehow, appear dialog box put in username , password.

for windows xp, problem not occur.

how address out?

hi,

please try disable uac , firewall test how going.

please delete “##servername#share” key registry below. remapping share/drive
fixed problem
hkey_current_user\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\explorer\mountpoints2
deleted key every other problem computers fix issue.

if issue persist, please try perform following steps:

1.click start, type gpedit.msc in start search box, , press enter. if prompted administrator password or confirmation, type password, or click allow.

2.under computer configuration, expand administrative templates, expand windows components, , click autoplay policies.

3.in details pane, double-click turn off autoplay.

4.click enabled, , select drives in turn off autoplay box disable autorun on drives.

5.restart computer.

if issue persist, please try collect more information further analysis:
dcdiag /v /c /d /e /s:dcname >c:\dcdiag.txt
ipconfig /all >c:\ipconfig.txt
dnslint /ad /s "dcipaddress" (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/321045)
