Can I add a printer twice, for two paper sizes?

can add printer twice, 2 paper sizes?  want add 1 network printer twice vista 64bit computer, using 'add printer' can print directly 8.5 inch 11 inch paper or 11 inch 17 inch paper.  (the tedious alternative have 1 printer , take several steps change paper size in printer properties every time need print different paper size).  tried adding printer twice , able to, paper size both paper size of printer changed last.  want 1 8.5"x11" printer , 1 11"x17" printer, can select them directly.  printer lanier 5645, , lanier not provide separate printer driver each paper size.  help.

no cannot add same network printer twice. need add new printer server type of functionality.  1 one set of defaults , 1 using other.  1 changes printer name reflect specific configuration of device.  if not print server administrator can using local printers target local port in format \\printserver\printshare.  setup each printer write same port changing driver , setting each local printer.  same practice of naming printers specific function holds true in sceanrio.
