we using hv 2012 r2 failover cluster csv. found articles saying pass through disks outperforms csv. correct?

pass-through disks not recommended.  yes, there unique outlying cases in receive marginally better performance on pass-through disk, of time, not see difference.  and, when make vm dependent upon pass-through disk, have locked vm specific host, losing of benefits people looking virtualization of servers.

Suspicious event log Event ID: 4905
